With a vast collection of over 35,000 books, 500+ national and international journals, 100+ postgraduate and doctoral theses, and an expanding repository of digital and e-resources, the library caters to the diverse academic and research needs of students, faculty, and scholars.
Our digital infrastructure includes access to DELNET, e-books, e-journals, and online databases. The library also houses dedicated reading zones, a digital resource centre, Wi-Fi-enabled study areas, reprographic facilities, and computer terminals for online reference.
Regular orientation programs, and literary events are organized to encourage a culture of reading and lifelong learning. Committed to academic excellence, the Central Library of Pratap University is more than a repository, it is a vibrant knowledge ecosystem empowering every learner to thrive.

The Central Library at Pratap University Jaipur was built in 2011 with the goal of meeting the essential knowledge needs of the university's students, faculty, research scholars, and staff. The Central Library works with great accuracy and attention to encourage academic success.

Established with the vision of supporting the university’s academic and research goals, the library serves as a dynamic resource centre that offers both traditional and digital learning resources in a learner-centric environment.
The Central Library is a state-of-the-art facility, automated with library management software, and is in the process of integrating RFID-enabled smart systems for seamless access, circulation, and tracking. The library provides a hybrid model of services, balancing rich physical collections with cutting-edge digital resources, to meet the diverse learning and research needs of students, faculty, researchers, and administrative staff.

The Central Library is located in Room No. 220 on the 2nd floor of the Academic Block.
Library Timings
Monday to Saturday: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on all working days
Closed on: Sundays and Gazetted Holidays
