Students, faculty, and staff can borrow textbooks, reference books, and other academic materials as per the library's lending policies. With a user-friendly catalog system and helpful staff, borrowing and returning books is efficient and hassle-free, ensuring timely access to learning resources.
Periodical Section
To keep the university community up to date with current research and developments, the library maintains a Periodical Section that features over 10+ subscribed print journals covering a wide range of disciplines. These journals are carefully selected to match the curriculum and research interests of various departments, providing readers with access to scholarly articles, industry updates, and the latest academic insights.
Digital Library Services
The Digital Library Section is a gateway to a world of knowledge. Equipped with high-speed internet-enabled computer systems, the section provides access to a vast collection of e-books, e-journals, conference proceedings, Ph.D. theses, technical reports, e-magazines, and e-newspapers. Whether for academic coursework, research, or competitive exam preparation, students and faculty can conveniently explore digital content through user-friendly portals and platforms.
Newspaper Clipping Service
The library curates a Newspaper Clipping Service that compiles relevant news and information from leading national and regional newspapers. This includes updates on university events, academic achievements, job advertisements, government notices, and educational trends. These clippings are regularly updated and archived, offering users quick access to current and historical news relevant to their academic journey.
Documentation Services
To support academic and administrative work, the Central Library provides documentation services such as photocopying, scanning, typesetting, designing, and printing. These services are particularly useful for preparing project reports, study materials, seminar papers, and research documentation. With dedicated equipment and trained personnel, the documentation center ensures high-quality outputs for all users.
Reference Services
For in-depth academic or research support, the library offers personalized Reference Services both offline and online. Library professionals assist users in locating specific information, using databases, identifying credible sources, and accessing research papers. Whether you're working on an assignment, thesis, or competitive exam preparation, the reference desk is here to guide you.
User Awareness Programs
To familiarize new students with the wealth of resources available, the Central Library organizes User Awareness and Orientation Programs at the beginning of each academic session. These sessions introduce users to library facilities, borrowing rules, digital resource access, and how to effectively search and retrieve academic content. This ensures that every student can make the most of the library from the very start of their university journey.
Ask the Librarian – Virtual Helpdesk
As part of our vision to enhance digital support, we plan to introduce an Ask the Librarian feature, a virtual helpdesk where users can seek assistance via email. Whether it’s a query about finding resources, using e-journals, or technical support, the service will ensure timely help from library experts, even beyond campus hours.
