We have several different complaint types: General Complaint, Accommodation Grievances, Academic Misconduct, and Sexual and Other Harassment.
Complaints related to academics must be submitted to dean.academics@pratapuniversity.in
Complaints related to administration must be submitted to dy.registrar@pratapuniversity.in
The complaint process is managed by the Dean Academics. Academic-related complaints are a joint effort between the Dean Academics and the Heads of Departments (HODs).
It depends on the complaint type. The general time frame is within the semester or by the semester following the incident occurrence. Please review the specific policy (Account & Admin, Academic, Accommodation, Maintenance, and Miscellaneous) related to your complaint.
After you file a complaint, you may meet with the Dean of Students office and receive assistance through facilitated dialogue if appropriate. For formal complaints, a meeting with the Dean Academic is required. Afterward, you may have a one-on-one meeting with the person of concern, optionally accompanied by someone from the Dean Academic's office.
The investigation and resolution, including any appeals, will be completed within a reasonable timeframe depending on the specifics of each individual case.
Currently, we have one boys’ hostel and one girls’ hostel.
Hostels are fully furnished with facilities such as 24x7 uninterrupted power backup, Wi-Fi, water supply, television, single and double rooms, common room, washrooms, hot water supply, security service, drinking water cooler, and laundry service.

PU ensures high standards for the quality of food served at its dining halls and other food courts on campus. The Monthly Menu is prepared by the Mess Council and approved by the Warden. The Hostel Facilities Management Committee (HFMC), comprising students, staff, and faculty, oversees the effective functioning of student messes and eating joints/shops at hostels.
Yes, the campus has 24x7 vehicle service for emergency needs.
Yes, the University has been established by Act No. 19 of 2008 of the Rajasthan State Legislature to award Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates. Recognized by University Grants Commission u/s 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956.
