A certificate course is a stepping stone for individuals who want to eventually pursue an M.A. (Ancient Indian History, Culture, and Archaeology). It is also accessible to people who want to learn more about the complex fabric of ancient Indian culture, notably via literature and archaeology.

Students must enroll in the courses having modules about the development of religious thought, and the cultural interactions that have shaped Indian civilization through the use of art, narratives, and records of pilgrims and travelers.

Students study archaeology's fundamentals, Ancient History, and Culture a subject that is vital to understanding our legacy.

Department of Physics

The Department of Physics came into existence in 2011. However, from its very inception, the physics faculty members were an integral part of the journey. The department is equipped with excellent academic credentials, including the very fundamental aspects of nature as well as applied physics. Areas of interest and active research include Condensed Matter Physics, Material Science, Optics, Microwave Physics, and Nanotechnology.

The faculty members of the physics department are actively carrying out research. Gradually, we are trying to set up state-of-the-art facilities to support our research as well as our academic program. On the departmental webpage, you will find more details about the academic programmes offered as well as the details of individual faculty members and their research interests.

The Department adheres to the best teaching practices in the core area of Physics with the motto of learner-centric teaching and exposes students to the most recent research through a summer internship/project and a semester-long research project.

  • Contemporary topics like nanotechnology have been introduced in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
  • The department is equipped with state-of-the-art UG and PG teaching as well as research labs
  • A well-equipped physics laboratory to cater to students of all engineering and diploma programs.
  • Workshops, symposiums, guest lectures, and training sessions are arranged to enable students to learn from and interact with scientists and researchers from different areas of physics.
