It is with great pride and a sense of responsibility that I serve as the Head of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Pratap University. Our mission is to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in all academic and administrative endeavors. At IQAC, we are dedicated to:

With extensive experience in institutional accreditation processes including NAAC and NIRF, I am dedicated to guiding our faculty, students & all stakeholders towards excellence while ensuring our practices meet international standards of quality. About the Cell

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a vital quality monitoring body established in higher education institutions as per University Grants Commission (UGC) and NAAC guidelines. It serves as a central hub for quality enhancement, working systematically to improve academic standards, administrative efficiency, and institutional performance.

At Pratap University, the IQAC—established on 10th July 2021—serves as the nodal agency for quality enhancement, driving continuous improvement in academic, administrative, and operational excellence. Aligned with UGC guidelines, our IQAC ensures sustained quality through systematic planning, stakeholder engagement, and best practices in higher education.


Objectives

Quality Benchmarking: Develop and monitor quality parameters for academic, administrative, and infrastructural activities.

Stakeholder Empowerment: Enhance faculty competence through training and students’ employability via skill-integrated curricula.

Continuous Improvement: Promote best practices in teaching-learning, research, and governance through periodic audits and feedback.

Social Responsibility: Align institutional goals with societal needs, ensuring education contributes to community upliftment.

Accreditation Readiness: Prepare the university for national/international accreditation (NAAC, NIRF, QS, etc.) through systematic documentation and compliance.


Functions

Quality Assurance Implementation: Develops and monitors quality standards across academic, research, governance, and administrative processes.

Annual Quality Reporting: Prepares the Quality Assurance Report, documenting quality initiatives, achievements, and improvement plans.

Quality Coordination: Acts as the central body for planning and executing quality enhancement programs, including accreditation activities.

Capacity Building: Conducts workshops, seminars, and training sessions for faculty, staff, and students to upgrade skills and knowledge.

Stakeholder Feedback System: Collects and analyzes input from students, alumni, employers, and parents to drive continuous improvement.

Best Practices Adoption: Identifies and institutionalizes innovative practices to elevate educational and operational standards.

Collaborative Partnerships: Engages with other institutions and agencies to exchange knowledge and adopt proven quality enhancement strategies.
